This is a typical Evan on any given day. He dresses himself because he's a "big boy". The other day he ran outside wearing a onesie upside down around his mid-section. He had to hold it up himself, but he was dressed. He also likes wearing Savannah's panties over his diaper.

Today, I was outside watering plants and found the kids in one of our whiskey barrels, digging and throwing dirt. Later this evening,
after their bath, dirt was still coming out their noses and Evan actually cried a mud tear drop. It was really gross.
We've been busy getting a few things done around the house to get ready for Isaac's upcoming deployment in January. We've done a lot of landscaping and have, so far, bought 27 trees! 6 Green Giants, 1 Oak, 5 Dogwood, 5 pine, 2 Apple, 2 Plum, 1 Cherry, 1 Pear, & 4 Crepe Myrtle. We love it. It's nice to have trees in our yard.
Isaac is also going to insulate our floor throughout the entire house so we don't freeze again this winter.

We decided to get rid of our dogs... and keep the dumb sheep. Here's what happened: While we were on vacation, the gate wasn't closed properly and a predator got in and ate a chicken. A couple of weeks later I went to clean out the water trough and dumped out what I thought was a rope, but was actually the leg from that chicken. Bear immediately picked it up and went off to chew on it. I wasn't about to wrestle a chicken leg out of his mouth. Well, Bear got a taste for chicken and by morning another chicken was gone and he had a live one in his mouth. The dogs were both sold and gone the next day. Don't worry... the chicken in his mouth survived and is still laying eggs. We're down to 7 chickens from the original 10.
Isaac wants me to keep the sheep, but is ultimately leaving the decision up to me since I'm going to be the one to take care of them while he's gone. Right now, they're staying. But if they so much look at me cross-eyed... they're OUTTA HERE! So we'll see.
